Eagle Vista Ranch & Wellness Center in Bemidji, Minnesota
Using horses in psychotherapy sessions (also known as Equine-Assisted
Psychotherapy or EAP) has been show to help people facing challenges
associated with depression, stress, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, mental
illness, grief, and anger.
At Eagle Vista Ranch & Wellness Center (EVR) we strive to help individuals gain self-confidence, trust, responsibility, and explore their future through the use of horses in equine-assisted psychotherapy & learning (EAP/L). We work with individuals of all ages, families or groups to provide powerful opportunities for healthier communication, stronger partnerships and happier relationships.

Healing with Horses
In addition to services for individuals, families and organizations, we offer support groups for grieving youth. Participants interact with peers and horses in an arena to explore and address healthy grieving, social skills, communication issues and other dynamics necessary for healthy, meaningful relationships. This is a "ground" based program with no horse experience necessary.
